BBSST stands for Building Based Student Support Team. It is a committee made up of teachers, the counselor, and an administrator who meet together to try to come up with strategies to assist students with behavior or academic difficulties.  Fortunately, our great teachers at Daphne Elementary already do many of these interventions on their own.  Our teachers are always on the look out for ways to help students meet their potential.  Sometimes when interventions have failed to succeed, the committee will recommend individual testing.  If you have further questions don't hesitate to contact me.
