Welcome to ShowMe Character!  ShowMe Character is a federally funded collaborative Baldwin County Public Schools character education program.

Baldwin County Public Schools believe that effective character education is based on core ethical values deeply rooted in our democratic society.  The value we place on personal respect, responsibility, honesty and caring are vital to the continued success of our nation. 

Here at DES our students learn a different ShowMe Character! trait each month.  This month:  Citizenship: Being a good neighbor, obeying laws and rules.

Tardies - We are having a number of students coming to school late. Please remember that a student is tardy promptly at 7:50 a.m. and must have a “tardy pass” from the office to get into class.
Early Arrivals & Late Departures - No child should arrive at school BEFORE 7:15 a.m. nor should they remain AFTER 3:15 p.m. Teachers are not on duty before or after these times. Therefore, your child will be unsupervised.
